Two plays will be performed "script in hand". Please see a very brief synopsis below for each. Previous events of this type have proved very enjoyable and entertaining. Note that we have included an age guidance of 17+ for the second play.

Call of the Wild by Lynn Morris

Emlyn, a retired bus driver, unsettles his wife Lois by pursuing impulsive new ventures... from loud shirts to rewilding. His son Toby, an estate agent and a natural born sceptic, is finding it all too much for his risk-aversive temperament. This sparks tension over independence, money, and life choices. Caught between their son's caution and their own restless dissatisfaction, Emlyn and Lois reflect on how routine and work has shaped their lives. Their story is tinged with humour, defiance, and renewed excitement about life... the wild is calling!

Brenton vs Brenton by David Tristam

Deke, multi billionaire advertising agency boss, expounds the advantages of his latest advertising campaign for condoms or, as he says, "lubricated leisurewear". However, in this over-the-top world of greed and melodrama, the Brenton family feud takes centre stage; A dark family secret fuels the conflict, the mysterious Eddie adds intrigue and Lana's shoulder-pads are so enormous she can't fit through the door. A fast-paced, absurd parody filled with outrageous scenarios...
